Our Return to the Village Missionary Trip 6-25-18

Greetings to you through the mighty Auspicious Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray that the Lord has kept you all well and that you are in good health. I also wish to bring warm regards from Africa, Especially Uganda, the country where I live. I am delighted and thrilled with gladness to be able to reach out to many through this blog, I believe your life will be motivated to be more and to do more through the Grace of God that he provides daily which is exceedingly and abundantly beyond human understanding.  Over the span of years I have come to gradually understand, learn and find out in-depth insight about loving Gods people regardless of their past and beliefs, and in my quest as a missionary to many parts especially in the deep villages of my country I have been digging and making references in the Bible and I have discovered something that I will share with you.

In the Book of Matthew

14: 14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion towards them and He healed their sickness

But if we examine the scriptures very carefully, There was something moving and stirring like a life force within Him which was as if there was an explosion of God’s love flowing in Him. Here is another Bible scripture in the Book of Matthew

15:32..Then Jesus called His disciples and said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they have been with Me for three days, and have nothing to eat,

There was a compassion that Jesus had for His people. You could copy everything Jesus did, say everything Jesus said and try all the right things but if you do not have compassion, there is a huge vacuum.

The word compassion is a mysterious word. It is not mercy or sympathy or pity It is much deeper than mercy or sympathy or pity. I have been motivated with the same compassion that Jesus had for people which has become the driving force of my life to reach out to many. This love has taken me not only to places that I am comfortable with but to areas where I have suffered with rejection, where I have been insulted, hurt both physically and mentally, and so much more but none of all that has stopped me to carry on the message of Jesus Christ that he loves everyone. In my upcoming blogs I will share my testimony how I survived several attacks because I preached the Gospel of good News.

A few weeks ago I set out on a missionary Journey with a team and travelled about 200 kilometers from the main capital city of my country to deep in the villages, the place where we were going was hidden in the beautiful hills of the southern part of Uganda. We arrived in the village town a bit late and since the people of this area spoke a different language it was a bit hard to communicate but we knew our purpose and there could be nothing that would hinder us to preach the Gospel. From our resting place to where our village evangelism could take place would also take 30 kilometers on road, our intention was to connect with local Christian leaders in the area and then find a way to organize a believers seminar where we would share and encourage one another. In fact we made it possible to have a gathering in the evening but during the day we would spend it walking from hut to hut, house to house, village after village preaching to everyone we could meet and then invite them for an evening of fellowship together.  The roads to the villages were horrible, it had rained consecutively in the past days before our arrival, the mud was too much, it was very hard to move but we had to move.

In the pictures you will see people praising, the several churches we conducted evening fellowships, the multitudes that showed up, how we were gladly welcomed by the wonderful people of God, I remember the Lord spoke to me to give out my shoes and I called out one man who lived alone in the hills and gave him a pair of what I was wearing and I had to preach barefooted in fact those are the only shoes I had which I came with. The lord Jesus Christ saved many, and still up to now we are receiving testimonies on how lives were changed, local Christian ministers and leaders were encouraged and many that were baptized and have become committed members of the area village churches where we held the gatherings.
