How I Started on this Christian Journey
Hello My name is Moses Muwanguzi, a former Muslim who turned Christian and became an evangelist in a time when I hadn't even believed what I had accepted in my life. If I reminisce the time the Lord called me to serve him, I am humbled by his amazing Grace. My family disowned me, I was left alone, I never knew the sacrifice for accepting the Lord but I believed it was worth it, right after knowing what I was called to do, I was passionate for the Lost, I had a hunger to reach out to many as I moved from village to village, walking on foot for miles, under the hottest sun and the bad rainy seasons. I travelled extensively every month to unknown destinations without anybody hosting me, I slept in classrooms, in places unimaginable but yet I was driven by the fire within me to spread the Gospel as far as my legs could take me, I was resisted in different communities that never believed in what I was saying, I met with those who worshipped different gods, believed in witchcraft and sorcery they even tried to bewitch me several times. I met with radical Muslims locally known as tabliqs. These have short trousers and are rooted deep in establishing wars and are very harmful to whoever turned Christian from being Muslim. I was led to start up open air rally village meetings and I would speak without a microphone, I would instead find a level raised up where I could stand for anyone to see me and then hold my Bible and start preaching. I witnessed hundreds coming to Christ, I have been blessed to plant churches across our country due to these evangelism efforts in the years past. I have preached in Schools, in prisons, in local chief's Respected mini mansions. I have preached in buses as I travel to villages, I have preached in towns in a diverse African cultures as well as places where theres been political unrests but I have survived all of it.
